A jam jar stores jam, so the Sun Jar stores... yep! SUN!
We all appreciate ecologically friendly lighting, and even more so when its safe, free to keep running, and as mystically atmospheric as the Sun Jar Solar Light!
Simply leave the jar in direct sunlight and the jar magically stores the light ready to release it again automatically turning on when it gets dark. The jars are waterproof allowing them to be used outdoors as well as indoors (though when not being used they should be kept inside). The frosted glass produces a magical effect, hiding all the equipment inside the jar but allowing the light to radiate as a soft orange glow (much like a candle), making it look as if the sun really has been caught.
Solar Powered Sun Jars are perfect for evening parties and gatherings to provide an atmospheric lighting effect. A few gathered around produces an effect akin to a scene from a Midsummer Nights Dream, or any other enchanted, fairy inhabited woodland that you care to think of.
Alternatively as the jar is perfectly safe it is ideal to use as a night light in a child's bedroom. Any child (in fact anyone at all) will be fascinated by this magic Solar Jar.

I bought this for my mum who has S.A.D (needs sunlight basically) the jar is great feels good quality and doesnt look like a cheap solar light. nice sun glow no good if you want a light but gives a nice ambiance hope it cheers her up!

I really bought this because it looks great, it's novel and I just had to try it for myself. Now it works and it works well, just like the description, but where it really impressed me is when I used it to check on our new-born baby in the night. It is such a subtle, natural looking light that it doesn't disturb her at all, yet it's bright enough for me to see that she's ok. Would also make a brilliant night light for those that like to have one. I'm very impressed and very happy with it. Good stuff! Great service from gadgets.co.uk too. Cheers guys

I bought this as a gift for my dad and he really likes it. It sits in his conservatory soaking up the sun during the daytime then gently glows sunshine yellow when it starts to get dark. The light is not bright enough to read by but the glow is lovely and it doesn't cost anything to use.
